Catholic Campaign for Human Development
The Catholic Campaign for Human (CCHD) development is the official domestic anti-poverty, social justice program of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). It is funded through an annual collection in parishes each year. Its mission is to address the root causes of poverty in the United States through promotion and support of community-controlled, self-help organizations of poor people and through transformative education.

Catholic Extension
As a missionary diocese, the Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks receives support from Catholic Extension which exists to sustain and extend the Catholic Faith in poor and remote mission areas of the United States where diocesan resources are insufficient. Catholic Extension builds national awareness and raises funds for the Church's needs in these communities to enable the essential mission of Catholic evangelization.

National Catholic Bioethics Center
"The National Catholic Bioethics Center (NCBC), established in 1972, conducts research, consultation, publishing and education to promote human dignity in health care and the life sciences, and derives its message directly from the teachings of the Catholic Church. The results of this research are available though this website and our various educational and publishing activities, workshops and seminars."

Propagation of the Faith
As the last internationally recognized missionary diocese in the United States, the Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks receives support from Rome through the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. In the United States, funds collected in parishes on World Mission Sunday, the last Sunday of October, are sent to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. For many years, the Catholic Diocese of Fairbanks has received grants from the society for our Catholic missions in northern and western Alaska where difficult conditions in a number of areas are similar to third world countries. We are grateful to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith for supporting our missions along with other world missions.
